Overview
This 3 day course has been designed to prepare participants to take the Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam2004 edition. This is not an introduction to project management course. This course will review all of the material covered on the exam and provide a large number of practice questions to prepare participants to succeed.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma, associate's degree or global equivalent and a minimum five years/60 months unique non overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks plus 35 contact hours of formal education OR a bachelor's degree or global equivalent Minimum three years/36 months unique and non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks plus 35 contact hours of formal project management education
All students will receive a course binder, study placemat, the project management book: A Systems Approach to Planning, Scheduling, and Controlling, a PMP Exam Prep Book and a PMP Study Guide

Exam
A two hundred question, four hour, closed book multiple choice examination is administered by an independent proctor at any Prometric testing center. Certification is through the Project Management Institute (PMI)
